Welcome to the Pit. We are a FREE resource for finding those missing model kit parts and dealing all the extra ones you may have. We are mainly interested in figure kits such as the Aurora Monsters, Superheroes and the Monster Scenes

and Prehistoric Scenes Kits. We are also interested in resin add on pieces for these classic kits as well as new classics from companies such as Monarch Models and Moebius Models. If you have created an Aurora Style figure kit... let us know!

 

AND A WORD ABOUT WHAT THE PARTS PIT IS NOT....

The Pit in no way wishes to compete with EBAY (as if.) We are the site for the serious collector/builder looking for a specific part. All parts we have access to are on this site.


Once you have found the part you are looking for on the site, just click on the order button or simply just contact us at thepartspit@rogers.com and we will put you in touch with the owner of the item via email) as quickly as possible. You can then make your deal.


At that point, please email US to let us know the part has a new owner and we can update our database. There is NO CHARGE for this service for either the buyer or the seller.

If you have extra pieces you want to add to the Database, please keep the parts and just send us  a list and be sure to include the kit name, part number (if known) and a brief description of the part (i.e. Right Arm - back half).

Be sure to include your email address so we can send buyers to you.

The Parts Pit was started as an alternative for the modelling community to the hit and miss listings on Ebay. How many times have you scoured a blurry picture of a Parts Lot looking for the once piece that you need? How many times have you been forced to buy a parts lot full of pieces you don’t need, just to get to the ones you do?


Now if you have a Mint In Box kit, we do not encourage you to list it here... but if you are willing to list specific parts, you’ll be helping out your fellow modeller -- and probably getting more per piece that you would letting the whole lot go at once.
