WHAT THE PARTS PIT IS...

Welcome to The Parts Pit! We are a FREE resource for finding those missing model kit parts and dealing all the extra ones you may have. We are mainly interested in the Aurora Monsters, Superheroes and the Monster Scenes & Prehistoric Scenes kits.

WHAT THE PARTS PIT IS NOT...

The Parts Pit in no way wishes to compete with EBay ( as if). We are a site for the serious collector who is looking for a specific part.

Once you have found the part that you are looking for here on our site, just click on the order button or simply just contact us at thepartspit@rogers.com and we will put you in touch with the owner of the item (via email) as quickly as possible. You can then make your deal.

At that point, please email us so we can update the database. There is NO CHARGE for this service. When you have something to add, again, please send the list including the kit name, part number (if known), a description of the part (i.e. right arm, back half...) and your email address.

The Parts Pit was started as an alternative for the modelling community to the hit and miss listings on Ebay. How many times have you scoured a parts lot trying to figure out if that thing behind the thing in a blurry photo of a parts lot is indeed what you are looking for? How many times have you been forced to buy a parts lot full of pieces you don't need just to get to the ones you do?

Worse yet is when someone else needs a different part in that same lot and you end up in a bidding war. The Parts Pit lists all parts individually whenever possible. If you have a MIB kit, I don't encourage you to list it here.. Ebay is the best place of course, but if you are willing to list specific parts and be a little more patient.. good things come to those who wait.

In addition, the Pit has become a means to make the Kit community aware of new Aurora related kits and accessories. We invite anyone with an Aurora style product to contact us for possible inclusion on the site.
